Welcome to Our Christmas Living Room Tour!
As I was gathering my Christmas decorations from their dusty home in the garage, I thought about what I wanted the feel of my home to be this year. The first word that came to mind when I think of the holidays is cozy. I want anyone coming into our home this holiday season feels cozy. Please enjoy this Christmas Living Room Tour.

Mantle
Let’s start with the mantle! I looooove how the mantle turned out this year. On top of the mantle, I twisted three garlands together: two of these from Hobby Lobby and this one from Lowes. Then, I laid a eucalyptus garland across the top and added in some more picks and finished it off with some lights. How dreamy! The bell garland was a gift, but these ornaments are shatterproof ones from Walmart last year, here are some similar ones. I tied them on a jute string and added them hanging low on the fireplace. I love how they look like mercury glass.

It’s dripping with brass accents as well. I scored this french horn at a thrift store for $4 and hung it on this second hand mirror. If you love thrifted and antique mirrors as much as I do, check out how I made this Mirror Gallery Wall.
I love decorating with brass candlesticks this time of year. Most of mine came from thrift stores and an online app called Mercari. Lastly, we have the Fa La La sign I made last year with my cricut, some tongue and groove boards, and a thrifted frame. I love how the gold and green pair so well together.

This advent calendar of the nutcracker was in my house growing up and my mom gave it to me a couple of years ago to use with my kids. I hope to pass it down to my son or daughter so one day it can be considered “vintage” hahaha.

These stockings are hung by the chimney with care, these cute name tags from Etsy, and some beautiful gold satin ribbon. If you haven’t noticed, I have loved adding ribbon everywhere this year. It adds the sweetest touch and instantly dresses up anything you put it on.

Christmas Tree
We ordered a new tree this year. I love the slim profile, it fits perfectly in this corner. To make it look more full and like a real tree, I bent the very bottom branches up. I think it gives it an authentic fresh from the farm feel.

I used a more satin ribbon on the tree and some more of the ornaments from Walmart. These sweet red ornaments are some vintage ones I found at an antique store last year. I saw these candles on amazon, and they are so cute and easy! They just clip on and I decided to get them to place around the tree. It gives the tree a little bit of a Victorian feel, which I love so much.

The rest is pretty simple with some dried oranges from last year as well as a bead garland I DIYed last year. I showed how to make both of these last year on my Instagram.

I love the Scandinavian feel of this wooden tree I thrifted, and how this red velvet ribbon adds a little something extra to these candlesticks.

Last are these shelves behind our couch. I tucked some fresh cedar sprigs around to add some green. These shelves turned out to cute. I used some books stacked different ways to add some pops of red in this corner and some more ribbon on my iron candlestick holders.
More brass candle accents on the reindeer and small candlestick really finish off the look. And that wraps up the Christmas Living Room Tour!
I hope you found some inspiration and enjoyed this tour!
